Featured Sales Horse: Don Juanito

We have several new sales horses going up on the website, including Don Juanito.  We will continue to feature each sales horse as our pictures & videos become available!


JUANITO
2000 Argentinian TB. 17.1 hands.
Has competed at the CCI ** successfully with a Young Riders and is ready to move up to Advanced. Juanito is very talented and looking for someone to take him to the next level.
He competes in all three phases in a snaffle. He has a fantastic BIG jump and very straight forward. He is sound and ready to go!!!

Dragonfire To Host Hawley Bennett

Dragonfire is most pleased to be hosting a Hawley Bennett-Awad clinic January 28-29, 2012. With her extraordinary accomplishments on all of the Canadian Teams including the Pam Ams, WEG's and the Olympics, this elite equestrienne hardly needs an introduction! Her drive and her youthful energy is not only unsurpassed in the industry it is also infectious as she has also had a hand in several top young rider's careers.


With her keen eye and direct teaching style, Hawley will undoubtably give you a clinic to remember.


The clinic fee is $215 for two days of intimate sized groups that will guarantee that Hawley will be able to give you the attention you need to improve. The Dragonfire facility also boasts a fantastically large ring with several types of stadium and cross country type obstacles that will give you the challenge you desire. Auditors will be just as pleased with the large seating area on the raised berm and a sound system to hear all of Hawley's instruction. The auditing fee is $10 per person for both days.

November 25 - 27th Clinic at Harmony Farms!

NOVEMBER 25-27 2011 CLINIC
Located at Harmony Farms, Surray, BC
Harmony Farms, owned by Nikki Ayers, is a family owned facility located in the sunny Hazelmere Valley just blocks away from the US boarder and minutes from Campbell Valley Equestrian center.  Nikki has her Equine Canada level II certification as well as manages, coaches and competes from her facility and business, Harmony Farms.

Jumping lessons will be a maximum of 4 riders per group and lessons will be an hour and 15 minutes.  All lessons are jumping with focus on rider postion, horse gymnastics and cross country skills.
Dressage lessons will be privates and 45 minutes.
All levels of riders and horses welcome!
Cost $160.00 per person for jumping (space for 22 rides)
Cost $75 per person for dressage (space for 8 rides)

GPA Press Release!


GOLD and SILVER for the Canadian riders in Eventing!   
Individual gold and team Silver at the PanAmerican Games for Canada.

Individual:

Jessica Phoenix, 28 years old, leading from the beginning of the competition, won the Gold medal in eventing. On the podium, Burnett Hannah Sue (USA) in Silver and Bruce Jr Davidson (USA) for Bronze

Team Medal
Following their great performance at the last WEG, the Canadian team kept going and won the Silver medal in Eventing.
Congratulation to the riders: James Atkinson, Hawley Bennet-Awad, Rebecca Howard and Selena O'Hanlon.
Team Gold for the USA, and Bronze for Brazil.

"The best honor is to ride for your country, when you rider for the team, there is a lot of pressure. It is a different state of mind, and when the team class is over, you need to concentrate again on the individuals" states Jessica.

The Canadian riders were riding with GPA helmets, partner of the Canadian Federation.
